Conyers introduces HR 676, Improved Medicare for All; Action needed

Dear brothers and sisters:

There is good news in difficult times—and your action will make it even better.

Rep. John Conyers Jr. has introduced his national single payer legislation, the Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act, HR 676, into the current session of Congress.

He was joined by 51 other House members, seven more than initially co-sponsored the bill in the last session.

HR 676 arrives at a crucial moment when the Affordable Care Act’s future is in doubt and other replacement proposals threaten to make matters worse by giving even more power to private insurance firms and Big Pharma.

Your action can help to place this fighting-forward solution on the nation’s agenda.

Call your representative and ask him or her to sign on to HR 676, Congressman John Conyers’ Improved Medicare for All. If your representative has already signed on, ask her/him to speak out boldly and publicly for this real answer to the crisis.

Find your congressperson here.

Call the Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and ask for your representative.

You can see and share Conyers’ news release on the Unions for Single Payer Facebook page.
